Alyssa Milano is the daughter of Italian-American parents Lin, a fashion designer, and Tom, a film music editor. Alyssa was born in a working class neighborhood in Brooklyn and grew up in a modest house on Staten Island. One day, her babysitter, who was an aspiring dancer, dragged Alyssa.


Rose Jane McGowan was born in Florence, Italy. Her mother is French, and her father was Irish. She was the second oldest of six kids. She moved to the USA at age nine. She later ran away to Los Angeles, where she met Gregg Araki, Doom Generation director, and he cast her in his film.

Lauralei Combs was only 15 years old when she gave birth to Holly. Holly's parents' marriage only lasted two years. Mother and daughter lived near the beach in San Diego until Holly was eight. After that she lived with her mother and stepfather in New York City. All three lived with Holly's.
